A healthy lifestyle involves many choices. Among them, choosing a balanced diet or healthy eating plan.

So how do you choose a healthy eating plan? Let's begin by defining what a healthy eating plan is.

According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2010, a healthy eating plan:

  • Emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products
  • Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts
  • Is low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars
  • Stays within your daily calorie needs

HEART-SMART MEAL PLAN

Eat a variety of nutritious foods from all the food groups.

You may be eating plenty of food, but your body may not be getting the nutrients it needs to be healthy.

Nutrient-rich foods have vitamins, minerals, fiber and other nutrients but are lower in calories.

Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables may help you control your weight, cholesterol and your blood pressure.

To get the nutrients you need, eat a dietary pattern that emphasizes:

  • fruits, vegetables,
  • whole grains,
  • low-fat dairy products,
  • poultry, fish and nuts,
  • while limiting red meat and sugary foods and beverages  beverages.

 


PREVENTION MEAL PLAN

It's a healthy diet. Eating right. You may not have a chronic disease such as diabetes or heart-disease so you want to do everything you can to Prevent it from ever happening 

A healthy diet is a way of eating that that reduces risk for complications such as heart disease and stroke. Healthy eating includes eating a wide variety of foods including

  • vegetables
  • whole grains
  •  fruits
  • non-fat dairy products
  • beans
  • lean meats
  • poultry
  • fish

Sample Meal Plan PRICING

$9.50 per Meal.  Each meal includes your choice of 1 entree plus 2 sides except as noted.  Uually lasagna is the only exception as it comes with 1 side dish.

Delivery Charges are not Include in meal pricing  Call or Email for these charges. All orders are shipped overnight via Fedex.

Having trouble Deciding?  Allow us.  Just tell us whichdiet you need, how many meals  and desserts you wish to order and indicate you would like "Chef's Choice".  Our trained professionals will then select your entrees and side dishes and contact you with delivery charges. When you approve, we will then ship your order.

ORDER PICKUP

Local customers can save on delivery charges and  pick their order up at one of our office locations.
